To ensure the festival’s regulatory requirements are met, the patrons have controlled and efficient access to the grounds while having a friendly and polite experience and to ensure the park grounds are kept clean and safe for festival patrons and volunteers.

Site personnel greet patrons at the 5 gates situated throughout Confederation Park, help make their entrance to park smooth and efficient, answer questions regarding the program, ensure only valid ticket holders are admitted to the park, ensure no alcohol leaves the park, and ensure that the grounds are clean and safe for patrons and volunteers. Site personnel are not a security force and will raise challenging issues to the appropriate security personnel.

Keeping the festival grounds & tables tidy, this includes some garbage detail.

Friendly, energetic, efficient and reliable. Enjoy working with others. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Often requires you to stand on your feet for long periods of time. Confident dealing with the general public – effective communication skills. Clean, with comfortable footwear.

Shift times are 4:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to closing (approximately 11:00 p.m.) You are required to sign up for a minimum of FOUR shifts, at least one of which must be a late shift (8:15 p.m. to closing)

All volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to shift start time for a daily briefing.
