To create the Outside Site venue grounds so it is visually appealing, effective and safe for patrons, volunteers and performers.

The dates for set-up are June 12th to June 21st, and the shift times are 9 am to 5 pm. The dates for tear-down are July 2nd-5th, and shift times will be from 9am to 5pm. We ask a minimum of 4 shifts.

The bonus is that all your shifts can be completed before the festival starts. leaving you free to watch all the shows.

To ensure the festival’s regulatory requirements are met, the patrons have controlled and efficient access to the grounds while having a friendly and polite experience and to ensure the park grounds are kept clean and safe for festival patrons and volunteers.

Shift times are 4:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to closing (approximately 11:00 p.m.) You are required to sign up for a minimum of FOUR shifts, at least one of which must be a late shift (8:15 p.m. to closing)

All volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to shift start time for a daily briefing.

Site personnel greet patrons at the 5 gates situated throughout Confederation Park, help make their entrance to park smooth and efficient, answer questions regarding the program, ensure only valid ticket holders are admitted to the park, ensure no alcohol leaves the park, and ensure that the grounds are clean and safe for patrons and volunteers. Site personnel are not a security force and will raise challenging issues to the appropriate security personnel.

The job of a Stage Crew Volunteer is to assist in the setup and teardown of bands on the main and OLG stages. This includes any technical and logistical needs as they arise to ensure a smooth running set of concerts.

The festival runs from Jun 23rd to June 30th.

During the festival, stage volunteers assist the musicians and their crews with their stage setup plot (lights and sound). Band equipment is unloaded from trucks, trailers, or personal vehicles/vans, and brought on stage for set up before each show. The gear is the taken down and reloaded after the show. Some equipment can be heavy and require two or more volunteers.

Main stage shows run in two shifts between 9am and 10:30pm.

OLG stage (second stage) shifts run two shifts of six to eight hours between 10am and 11:30pm, and may go past midnight.

Stage Installation Shifts

We are looking for volunteers who are available for setting up and taking down the stages and its infrastructure. All sound and lighting (truss and fixtures) equipment must be installed and taken down.

• Setup dates are June 12th to June 22nd, from 9am to 5pm.

• Teardown dates are July 1st to July 5th. Early teardown may begin after the final concert on June 30th and may go into early morning of July 1st. The remainder of the infrastructure will be removed once the stage has been removed from under each tent.

Setup and teardown will also include erecting and taking down the main tent for the main stage, under the supervision of a company representative.
